Courses Administrator

The Courses Administrator (Maternity Cover) will be responsible for the practical implementation of the artistic and educational decisions of the Director of Oundle for Organists. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

(NB: not all tasks will be happening all year round, but will be undertaken during the relevant
points during the year.)

Oundle for Organists:
• Booking venues and hiring transport
• Booking and liaising with tutors and support staff to help at the courses.
• Obtaining work permits and DBS checks as required for tutors and course staff
• Liaising with all venues – including Cambridge Colleges and Oundle School – about the use of
facilities, accommodation and catering arrangements
• Producing/updating risk assessments where necessary
• Overseeing the production of course brochures (including selling adverts to go in them) and their distribution
• Co-ordinate publicity of the courses and submission of adverts to various journals
• Maintaining the OfO website
• Managing the course application process and communicating with students before and after the courses
• Being the point of contact for students and their families about applications, arrangements and all practical matters and questions
• Preparing and implementing the course schedules, in conjunction with the Director
• Preparing the boarding house and other venues before the courses
• Overseeing all practical requirements of the courses
• Communicating with OfO donors and supporters
• Liaising with bursary donors
• Draw up and oversee the OfO budget with the assistance of the Administrative Director
• Ensuring that payments for any course-related expenses (venues, tutors, advertising, transport etc.) are processed appropriately through the Administrative Director
• Filing records and invoices
• Reporting financial information to Administrative Director
• Helping locate sources of funding, and assisting the Director in applying for grants

General Office Administration
• Support the Administrative Director in the delivery of all Oundle Music Trust activities and operations
• Operate the Box Office system when required

You will be directly responsible to:
The Director of Oundle for Organists and the Administrative Director of the Oundle Music Trust.

Oundle for Organists
Oundle for Organists is run by the Oundle Music Trust. It is one of the leading providers of organ music education in the UK through its successful programme of residential courses and its new online support and mentoring initiatives. Founded in 1984, many OfO alumni are now at the forefront of the music profession, holding cathedral, church, and teaching organ-related posts throughout the UK and abroad.
